HELP!
I have had my
Panasonic FZ20 digital camera for eight glorious months, and have
taken over 14,000 photos with it. No problems whatsoever!
Until New Year's Day 2006, that is. That's when I dropped the camera on the floor. It was in its protective case, and it only dropped about two feet onto the floor at my church, but the incident seems to have jarred something in the camera. Notice the blurriness in the lower-left corner of each photo below. At first I was hoping that it was simply the LCD screen on back, but that theory was quickly dispelled when I saw the same blur in the eyepiece viewfinder. Then I was hoping maybe it was my filter, but I tried removing that and new photos have the same effect. Alas, it seems that something is amiss inside my beloved camera. Does anyone have a clue what it could be, or what I can do about it?! (I don't think my wife will let me buy a new camera!!) (Hey, maybe Panasonic will send me an FZ30 since I have over 8000 hits on my FZ20 web page...anyone know someone at Panasonic?! ;-) (BTW -- you can click on a small photo below to get a medium one, and click on the medium to get a full-size photo. Some of these are at full resolution, and some at only 1600x1200 to save disk space.) Thanks, - Tom Arneberg (toma@arneberg.com) |
