2007 RACQUETBALL TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES 1.2007 Racquetball Tournament begins Monday, March 19. All Division A matches should be played by Tuesday, April 24 at 10pm. All Division B, C, & Doubles matches should be played by Wednesday, April 25 at 10pm. Any matches not played by the designated completion date will be considered a loss for both opponents. 2.Court reservations should be made at the front desk 3.Players in each division will play each other once, twice, or three times depending upon the number of participants in each division – see the division bracket information sheet A.Each person will set-up his/her own matches. B.Players should officiate their own matches C.All matches will consist of 2 out of 3 games. First 2 games to 15 points, 3rd game to 11 points, if necessary. 4.The 2007 Racquetball Tournament Match Results forms will be located in front of the racquetball ladder forms. Please use these forms instead of the racquetball ladder forms to record tournament match results. Please submit your results to the front desk. All matches may count towards the racquetball ladder, but you must record these separately on the racquetball ladder forms. 5.Championship matches for Division A will be held on Wednesday, April 25, while championship matches for Divisions B, C, & Doubles will be held on Thursday, April 26. A.For Division A, the top four players will play for the AA and A Championships as follows: 1 vs. 4, 2 vs. 3; winners will play for AA championship, while losers will play for A Championship. B.For Divisions B, C, & Doubles the top two players from each division will play for the championship. C.Seeding of the top players will be done according to the following and in this order: i.Best record in matches played. ii.Head to head record. iii.Least number of points allowed in the first two games of each match played. D.It is imperative that you complete scorecards correctly in order to determine the best overall records for each division. E.Volunteers will be needed to help in officiating the championship matches, as we have done in the past. 6.A social will be held at the Fill-Inn Station after the championship matches are completed on Thursday, April 26.
