John Schneider (Dean) - Land O’Lakes District (Wisconsin). I joined the Society in Houston, Texas, in 1972, and sang with the Tidelanders until I moved to Kenosha in June, 1997. I held nearly all chapter offices, nearly all District offices and served on the International Board on two occasions. I was also a Society Vice President and member of the old Executive Committee. I practiced law in Houston for 30 years prior to going to work for the Society as Manager of Conventions and Meetings and Staff Counsel. SWD BOTY (1988, I think) and member of the SWD Hall of Fame. This will be my second year serving as a Dean on the COTS faculty. Also a member of the Harmony Foundation's Founder Club Jim
Bagby (Chorus Director) - Central States District (Missouri).
Third-generation barbershopper, 38-year Society member.
Directed Kansas City's Heart of America Chorus for almost 20 years in two
stints between 1974 and 1998. 15
International appearances, placed as high as 6th (and, uh, lower).
Longtime Harmony College faculty member. Society board member 1996-1998.
Central States District Hall of Fame. 30 Man-of-Note awards.
Sang in a dozen registered quartets, several disorganized ones.
Won CSD in 1982 with Harmony Spectrum. Sang with Rural Route 4 from 1977
to 1994, Society champions in 1986. Jim
is a member of the Society’s Style Examination Committee.
He now sings with Tone-Henge (senior foursome).

Bermel (Treasurer) - Mid-Atlantic District (Virginia).
A member since 1963 (Life Member in 1974), Pete sings with the Fairfax
Jubil-Aires. He has held all
chapter offices and was chapter president when Fairfax was the Society’s 2nd
largest chapter. He was M-AD’s
first Bulletin Editor of the Year and later District Bulletin Editor.
He planted the Society seal at the South Pole while on an Antarctic
mapping expedition. Pete has been
M-AD COTS faculty and an Area Counselor, is a Chapter Coach, and became a
Society COTS faculty member in 1998. John
“Jack” Frobose (President) -
Dixie District (Georgia). A Past
District President of Dixie District and Past District Vice-President. Selected as Barbershopper of the Year for Dixie District and
four times as Barbershopper of the Year - District Vice-President.
Also a past chapter President and Chapter Barbershopper of the Year.
Jack currently sings with the Stone Mountain Chorus and is a member of
the Society’s Member Services Committee. Robert Guiggey (Chapter Support & Leadership Training) - Northeastern District (Massachusetts). A member since 1977, Bob has served his chapter as PVP, Exec. Board Member. BOTY in 1980, Division BOTY in 1997, and member of NEWCANEWENG (NED Honor Society). Bob has been Division Executive Assistant, District VP for Division, District VP-Chapter Support & Leadership Training, and currently serves as NED District President. An experienced quarteter, he is a Chapter Coach and taught his first COTS in 1998. Wayne
Kinde (Member Services) -
Pioneer District (Michigan). Wayne
has been a member of SPEBSQSA for six years. Much of that time has been spent in
teaching vocal production to choruses and quartets and in giving voice lessons.
The Great Lakes Chorus became Pioneer District Chorus representatives at
International for 4 straight years under his tutelage.
Many quartets have also benefited from his coaching, including Sharper
Image (Chicago, IL) and Power Play (Detroit, MI). Wayne sings lead in fermatta,
the quartet which won the Pioneer District Quartet Contest in 1996, and is
presently singing bass in WJBC, a new quartet out of Detroit, MI. He resides in
Grand Rapids, MI, but is a member
of the Macomb County (Harmony Heritage) Chorus in Detroit, MI, International
representative to the 1999 International contest John
Krizek (Marketing and PR) - Far Western District (California).
John is a 41-year barbershopper who spent several years as chairman of
Society public relations and marketing committees in the '70's and '90's, and
recently served a three-year term as a Society Board Member at Large.
He was a Far Western District division VP and PR chairman, organized that
district's pioneering Youth Outreach program, and is today the district VP for
Youth Activities (YMIH). He is a
member of the FWD Hall of Fame. He's
been a COTS instructor since PR classes were added about ten years ago. John lives in Van Nuys, CA, and currently sings with the
Masters of Harmony chorus James C. Warner (Secretary) - Dixie District (Tennessee). International President (1988); International Board of Directors (1985-1992); Laws & Regulations Committee (1979-1987, 1989-present; current Chair); Member - various other International committees; Harmony Foundation (Trustee, 1990-present; President, 1996-present); Faculty, Chapter Operations Training Seminar (1974- present); President, Dixie District (1981-1982); Dixie District Barbershopper of the Year (1979); Member, Memphis Chapter, SPEBSQSA (1963-present; held all offices except secretary; Show Committee Ticket Chair 15+ years, Section Leader, member of Music Team); Quartets: High Cotton (1972-1992) [Dixie District Novice quartet champs - 1974]); Aching Heart Four (19?-?); Antic Notes; Taste of Phunny; QuickSilver (current quartet; Dixie District Seniors Quartet silver medalist -1997).
