Welcome to the LOL COTS website.  We hope that you will use this site for information and inquiry in preparation for the upcoming 2003 Chapter Operations Training Seminar. 

The location for this year's COTS has been changed to  Menomonie, WI and will be held on the University of Wisconsin - Stout campus.  There are maps to assist you in locating Menomonie which is right off I-94 approximately 40 miles east of the Minnesota/Wisconsin border and 30 miles west of Eau Claire.  Simply take exit 41 south off the Interstate.

There is also a new date for this year's LOL COTS which will be on January 11-12.  

The schedule will be very much the same as in the past years.  "Joe Barbershopper" seminar will also be offered again this year as well as a "Young Men In Harmony" session. New this year will be sessions for Assistant Directors and Section Leaders.  We are also going to add a Grant Writing workshop on Saturday morning from 10:00 - 11:30 am and also an in an informal discussion group for Membership VPs led by Tom Weber, District VP for Member Development at the same time slot.  

There has been an addition to the 10:00 - 11:30 am  Early Bird Sessions.  This will be on member recruiting by Tom Weber tweber10@wi.rr.com,  District VP for Member Development.  Chapter VPs for Membership are urged to attend and share ideas.

We hope that all chapter Presidents will encourage their new officers as well as any interested members to attend COTS.  We have an outstanding Dean and excellent faculty to make this year another enjoyable, productive and successful event.
